2012 NOAH Fall Tennis Begins September 3th

We are pleased to announce that NOAH is providing an opportunity for 6th graders and up to play Fall Tennis.  This is a great opportunity to work on your strokes leading up to 2013 Spring Tennis.  This is a relaxed atmosphere to get some court time with our NOAH coaches who will be available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for six weeks.

The schedule is as follows;

1.    Kids new to tennis will practice from 5 to 6 PM – if you are new to NOAH come to this time slot.  If you have time new kids can stay over into the second session, if desired.

2.    Experienced kids will practice from 6 to 7:30 PM.  We will need some of the experienced kids to assist with the new kids at 5 PM.

NOAH’s home courts are at Benedict Park which is located near Hillcrest Hospital, 12th and Utica.

The cost will be as follows; $25 and no uniforms will be required. Fall Tennis is not mandatory, however the participant will have 18 sessions available, so it is hoped that all can take advantage of this opportunity.

ACTION:  Please reply back by August 31st, if you have an interest in participating in this fall tennis event.   Please forward to your home school friends that may be interested in tennis!

2012 NOAH Junior High Tennis Practice Begins Tomorrow

Junior High Practice begins tomorrow at Tracy Park at 5 PM.   Coach Chris Thrutchley is ready to go and excited to see the kids on the courts!  His cell number is 918-284-4348.

The weather forecast looks good for tomorrow but call the Tennisline at 918-365-2214 to confirm before you leave the house in the event that the weather is questionable.  Please go to the NOAH website www.noahjags.org under "Forms" and print out Code of Conduct, Medical Release and if you have not completed your physical please have your doctor use the Physical Questionnaire form from the site. If you have a physical within the last 12 months please let Coach know that you have one on file with another NOAH team or bring a copy.  Please give all these completed forms to Chris.

He is looking for helpers as well, so feel free to let him know if you can help from time to time. This is a good time to get involved with NOAH Tennis, so don't hesitate to volunteer!

See you tomorrow!

Parents Meeting

Spring Tennis is just around the corner---Practices begin in February!

We have scheduled a parent meeting to discuss the 2012 Spring Tennis season on January 17th at First Baptist Church Broken Arrow.  The meeting will start at 7 PM.  Please see the map below to get to the church.  We will be in the ARC (gym) in room A212.  This room is on the second floor.

We will provide match schedules for the high school teams and hopefully the junior high schedule as well.  We will discuss other calendar matters as well as player fees.  Please feel free to bring your tennis player with you so that they can participate in discussions.  Even if you are not sure about participation, please plan to come for the update.

We will have sweat suit samples to try on and order.  Outside practice in Oklahoma in February can be a bit cool and NOAH sweats come in handy.

Please forward to those that you feel might be interested in participating in NOAH Tennis.  I can be contacted on my cell at

918-688-3410.

See you Tuesday night!
